HPC For Big Data Analysis

IIT Jammu offers advanced computing and cloud facilities, including computational labs with high-end workstations and a data center, "Agastya," commissioned in 2020 for big-data analysis and high-performance computing. The C3I division manages the data center, supporting students and faculty with services like onboarding and maintenance. The institute is also setting up a new data center, expected to be operational by late 2024, featuring 256 Tera Flops of CPU-based computing and 8 GPUs (Tesla V100).
